Shamon Tooles (born November 25, 1981), also known by his stage name Toolez, is an African American rap artist from Coatesville, Pennsylvania.

Shamon played basketball for the UConn Huskies from 2001-2004, after being named All-City and All-District as a senior at Coatesville Area High School. In his senior season at Connecticut, the Huskies won the 2004 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament. At UConn he would rap for his teammates and write his own songs. His true passion was music.[1]
At UConn’s Spring Weekend 2004, Shamon got his start in the music business. He opened for Kanye West and Ludacris. He also has performed onstage with artists such as Jim Jones, Trina, Lil Boosie, Apathy, and T.I. Despite being unsigned, he has collaborated with notable stars such as Gillie Da Kid, Stat Quo, H Town’s Dom GI, Mateo and Obie Trice.
He co-owns 50/50 L.G. Entertainment, an independent record company in Downingtown, PA with his childhood friend Mondre ‘$Dre Money$’ Boggs & Adam Salameh. At 50/50 he teams with several Philadelphia-based artists including R&B singer Walt Anderson, who appeared on the first season of MTV’s “Making the Band.” They also develop and distribute various acts such as R&B, pop, and hardcore rap. In 2008, 50/50 L.G. Entertainment rap artist Mystik started production on her debut album with critically acclaimed producer Dame Grease, increasing the labels credibility of delivering promising artist.
